It’s coming up to that time of year when fantastic fathers and doting dads get to enjoy their own special day.

The Treasure Houses of England have come up with a selection of great ways to celebrate Father’s Day with a fun day out.

Beaulieu is hosting it Hot Rod and Custom Drive In Day on Sunday 17th June.

The South’s biggest Hot Rod and Custom event, it features hundreds of cool, colourful custom cars, live music and hip entertainment throughout the day.

Hot rods, Customs, American Muscle and powerful trikes will be among the hundreds of vehicles on display.

Plus Sunday will see the launch of a brand new exhibition The Art of Kustom featuring incredible creations from the imagination of acclaimed car customiser Andy Saunders.

Andy will be driving one of his stunning machines around the grounds and the full showcase of his most famous jaw-dropping creations will be on show inside the museum.

There’s a spectacular Sunday of motoring heritage for enthusiasts, day trippers and families in store at Castle Howard as part of its Father’s Day Classic Car & Motor Show.

The show is expected to attract upwards of 750 vintage, classic, modern classic and electric cars and motorcycles from a range of private owners and organised vehicle clubs.

Vehicles will be displayed on the basis of age and category (Sports and Convertibles, Kit, Custom and Replica and American). The event also includes a full vehicle concours.

Foodie fathers can enjoy Hatfield House’s Farmers’ Market held in Stable Yard from 10am-2pm on June 17th. The market features cakes, crafts, beers, breads, baskets and honey; many of which are made or sourced locally.

Holkham Hall is staging a Father’s Day Dens and Fires event (10am-midday, 1pm-3pm). Celebrate Father’s Day with a morning or afternoon in the woods around a campfire, learn some essential survival skills including knot tying, den building and fire lighting – not forgetting marshmallow toasting!
