Be Part of Beaulieu’s Award-Winning International Autojumble – September 1st & 2nd

Beaulieu’s International Autojumble will return on September 1st and 2nd with two top awards under its belt, after winning gold for the best event in Tourism South East’s Beaulieu South Awards and the UK Heritage Awards.

Join the celebrated motoring event’s classic car community of 2,000 stallholders for a petrol-fuelled weekend of trading and socialising. If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy the atmosphere, friendliness and camaraderie of the show, then you haven’t enjoyed the International Autojumble at its best.

Whether driving and restoring historic vehicles is a hobby or way of life, the opportunity to sell surplus parts, barter for hard-to-find items and gather invaluable know-how is a must on every enthusiast’s bucket list.

International Autojumble recently celebrated its 50th anniversary – Beaulieu was the birthplace of the autojumble back in 1967 – and is still the biggest and best this side of the Atlantic. Each year classic car enthusiasts gather from across Europe to search for treasure on stands packed withmotoring spares, accessories and automobilia. As the saying goes, if you can’t find it at Beaulieu then you won’t find it anywhere.

Stands start at £148.50 for an uncovered 12ft by 15ft space and stallholders enjoy the added bonus of access to the showground for Friday’s set-up, before event-goers arrive. It is the best time to meet up with old friends and make new contacts.

If one-day trading from your car boot is all you need to sell unwanted car parts and accessories, then Sunday’s Trunk Traderspitches start at £60.

If you’re selling a classic vehicle, Automart ensures that your vehicle is seen by thousands of potential buyers. The selection of motors is always varied, with the hottest buys often selling within minutes of show opening. Classic car dealers can also showcase impressive stock in Dealermart.

The show highlights don’t end there, with the return of auction house Bonhams on the Saturday, selling collectors’ cars, motorcycles and automobilia under the hammer. Admission to the sale room is by pre-booked catalogue only, at www.bonhams.com/auctions/24877.

Meet the team from International Autojumble media sponsor Practical Classics on their stand and discuss restoration skills as they talk about their latest project vehicles.

One-day and two-dayvisitor tickets are available, together with a limited number of premium tickets which give early entry to the showground an hour before the event opens to the public, plus priority parking. Tickets are available in advance online. For tickets or more details see www.beaulieu.co.uk/events or call 01590 612888.

Tickets include entry to the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum with its collection of more than 250 vehicles and new displays The Art of Kustom and The Luxury of Motoring, plus World of Top GearOn Screen Cars, the ancestral Montagu home of Palace House, 13th century Beaulieu Abbey and the stunning grounds and gardens.

Admission to the museum and Brabazon Restaurant is from 8.30am both days, while the main event opens from 10am – 5pm on the Saturday and 9.30am – 4.30pm on the Sunday. A free shuttle bus will run between the car parks and Beaulieu’s Visitor Reception during the show, while a delivery service will help autojumblers take their heavy or bulky purchases back to their cars.
